Having a weird problem of late.  If you look at the screenshot below, most of my application icons have the default icon from any/all IP packages I apply associated with them.  I've done the rebuild icon cache, etc., all with no luck.  I've gone back to the default vista icons and this doesn't fix the issue.  One final thing I still have to do is uninstall/reinstall IP, but thought I'd ask in case anyone else has had this problem in the meantime.

Okay, I realize that's a really crappy post title, but I couldn't think of anything else. Below is a link to a screenshot of loading "help and support" while using aero:

Notice how the "H&S" window is position at the top of the monitor when it is launched?

Now, here's a screenshot with WB:

Obviously, you can note how the window is pushed down from the top of the monitor and this is just after launching. I've had this problem with more than just Help and Support, just figured it was a good example, but windows that aren't maximized aren't always positioned properly when they launch, sometimes they are even pushed off to the right of the screen. I realize I can drag the window back into position, but would prefer not to do that all day if possible.

Is this a known issue, or is there a setting I'm missing?

I can't seem to get past this, trying to install 5.50 from today. Using Vista Business, only thing I'm running is AVG and the built-in Windows Defender. I have disabled the Windows Defender service in an attempt to make sure that isn't causing a problem and unfortunately no luck. Any advice?

Intel Pentium D 2.66GHz
1 GB Ram
ATI x600 with latest catalyst drivers (yeah, video needs an upgrade)

I can't seem to use IconX when I'm using one of the Apogee icon packages. It works with all other icon packages, so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas?

I've got the latest version (2.07.333, build: 85) of SDC installed (have it set to check for betas), and for some reason OD+ isn't showing up in the miscellaneous section anymore. I have verified the registration on it and that is set correctly, but no go on getting OD+ to display.

Anyone else seen this, or know of a fix?

My RSSRead widget is having an issue displaying special characters, like those in the feed: Feed Link. My widget is: Here, and Pietro pointed out a widget that displays them okay, which is located: Here. The only thing I see differently is that the other widget isn't using an http get on the xml file, rather a navigate2 control. Is this what's causing the problem?

Beyond just being a feed for 1 site, my intention is to give the ability add/delete other feeds and keep them so they'll always be there. Obviously have a lot of work to do, but thought I'd get some feedback as I'm curious to know if anyone beyond me would think this'd be useful.

I'm trying to save an object's position, and was trying to use this subroutine (Object_OnDragFinish), thinking I could call my "savesettings" function from there, but it doesn't seem to work. My exact statement is as follows:

Sub Object_OnDragFinish
   savesettings
End Sub

Can anyone enlighten me as to why this isn't actually calling the savesettings sub?
